Whether you dream of opening a restaurant or starting your own innovative F&B business, this five-month intense program of 25 masterclasses will give you the skills and connections you need. Your own business project will take shape thanks to academic modules and the tools EHL developed to help entrepreneurs.

It will also immerse you in culinary operations, from fine-dining cuisine in EHL’s gastronomic restaurant to freshly prepared takeaway food, going through catering, oenology or even R&D.  • Front of house operations and service skills (10 hours)

 • Sous-vide cooking (CREA certificate) (35 hours)

 • Fine dining cuisine (1* Michelin) (40 hours)

 • Fine dining restaurant & bistro service (75 hours)

 • Oenology (30 hours)

 • Oenology & Culinary discovery tour (local visits in the Lausanne region and Zurich) (100 hours)

In addition to his endorsement to the program, Chef Giovannini personally welcomes a group of EHL students to the restaurant on a weekly basis and shares his insights, showing the students how to create a 3* Michelin customer experience and discover all the preparation that goes into such an establishment.

Admission Criteria

Minimum Qualification Required

• Post-secondary education (diploma, associate degree, bachelor degree, etc.) or equivalent relevant work experience.

 • A thorough command of English (min. TOEFL 80 points or IELTS 6.0)

 • Recommended: Work experience in the hospitality industry and some culinary knowledge (basics)

Admission Process

Open an account, prepare and finalize your application by paying your application fee of CHF 175. Once you have submitted a complete application, our Admissions Team will evaluate it and contact you if you are selected for an interview. The interview is conducted on campus or by video conference. Final decisions will be made by the Admissions Committee after an evaluation of your complete application file and interviews.

Deadline

Visa candidates:  applications to be received minimum 3 months before the program start date.

Non-visa candidates: applications to be received minimum 1 month before the program start date.
